To me this album is what Oceanborn was to Nightwish, the band at it's best and with every song being amazing. Erin's voice is as beautiful as it's ever been and Scott's music carries me like a soothing breeze, heading off to astral realms. Along with Divinian, this album stands out as being exceptionally stellar. Cyssan is a personal favourite that always fills me with what I can only describe as a cathartic sadness, like a final tearful farewell to a dear friend.

So many good songs on this album! "Across a thousand blades" has that classic dramatic-early-Black-tape-heartbroken-urgency to it. "Through sky blue rooms" is probably the purest expression of happiness I've ever heard. "You tangle within me" is so beautiful, whether the original version (see the 'Archive 01' EP) or this one--they have their own personalities yet each are able to touch me in the very same place in the same way with the greatest of ease...
